DAKOTA have been working in Basel Switzerland. DAKOTA created a stripped-back bar concept that works for both day and night trade, and a cool basement club for late night party goers.

The clients brief was to create a smart city centre brassiere with a Victorian stylised interior which had a modern twist on a classical theme. DAKOTA decided to use classical elements; tin tiles and timber paneling in a more contemporary style with stripped back brickwork and timber floors.

DAKOTA transformed the Bistro within Hotel Du Vin giving it a new lease of life, which reflected the buildings nautical heritage along with the rich culture that surrounds it, of the Newcastle Quayside.
