MALMAISON EDINBURGH CITY

 

The new flagship hotel for the Malmaison. The brief was to create a stylish 72- bedroom hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, St Andrews Square. 

The design had to create an extraordinary experience for all Malmaison’s guests, whilst incorporating the individuality and uniqueness of the Malmaison brand.

The central story we told through design was one of juxtaposition. 

DAKOTA used this contrasting theme throughout the hotel but, at the same time, created a sophisticated hotel and stylish space.

The bedrooms are cosy and distinctive and the public areas are funky and over the top; all designed to give the guest a unique hotel experience, which would not be found anywhere else or with any other brand.

The hotel has been nominated in THE INTERNATIONAL HOTEL & PROPERTY AWARDS 2020- under the category BEST HOTELS UNDER 200 ROOMS EUROPE
